Chronicles From The Siege

The movie is structured as a raw, gripping series of loosely interconnected vignettes that deep-dives into the psychological toll of prolonged isolation. Drawing heavily from the director's own lived experiences during the blockade of the Yarmouk refugee camp in Damascus, as well as stories from Gaza, the narrative eschews macro-political rhetoric to focus on the elemental side of war. It captures characters as they emerge, disappear, and reappear, highlighting ordinary longings—desiring sweet treats, falling in love, or arguing about cinema—while forced into impossible moral corners just to survive another day.
