Bequest
Omoni's 30th birthday begins with her mother forgetting the cake—a familiar dismissal that stings deeper than she admits. Then an email arrives, summoning her to the reading of 'Bequest,' the will of an aunt she barely knew. In Lagos, she finds a half-share of a house, 80 million naira, and a hostile stepbrother, Benjamin, who wants to sell. But the house bleeds from its faucets, its lights flicker like warnings, and Omoni cannot shake the feeling that something—or someone—is hiding a truth that will shatter what she thought she knew.

Storyline
Omoni turns thirty in disappointment, her mother forgetting the birthday cake while brushing off her feelings. That same day, an email from lawyer Frederick Ademola summons her to the reading of her Aunt Dahl's will—a woman Omoni was told was her aunt. Despite her mother's warnings of a scam, Omoni travels to Lagos, where she meets Fred and her stepbrother, Benjamin. They learn that Aunt Dahl left them equal shares of a house and 80 million naira. Benjamin wants to sell immediately; Omoni hesitates, drawn to the home that suddenly feels like a key to her past. Staying in the house, Omoni faces strange occurrences—blood pooling in the sink, lights flickering without cause. Fred helps with repairs and pushes her to sell, but Omoni's suspicion of Benjamin grows. During a heated argument, Benjamin drops a bombshell: Aunt Dahl was Omoni's biological mother. A letter from Dahl explains she was forced to give Omoni to her twin sister after a drunken encounter with her husband. Devastated but liberated, Omoni now understands her mother's coldness. She refuses to sell, proposing instead to partner with Benjamin to continue their mother's business. Fred pressures them to accept a quick sale, but Benjamin discovers Fred was secretly taking a 20 million naira commission. Confronted, Fred threatens them, but evidence of his theft and the house break-in surfaces—he is arrested for fraud. Omoni's mother arrives in Lagos, finally acknowledging the truth and reconciling with her daughter. Together, Omoni and Benjamin decide to keep the house and invest in their mother's legacy. The film closes with them celebrating, their bond forged in the ashes of buried secrets, a new family rising from the inheritance that was never just a house.
