To Love A Thief

In To Love A Thief, Felix tackles Linda during a supermarket robbery and sparks an inexplicable connection. Linda later muses that love leads the heart to what it needs, and she shares the encounter with her sister Precious. Their father Gideon, a dedicated police officer, obsesses over catching the two thieves plaguing the neighborhood. P-Man celebrates a jewelry heist with his sons but warns that relationships are a no-go area that could land them in jail. Felix violates that rule when he tracks Linda down and begins a romance marked by intense chemistry. The gang plans a warehouse operation but Felix leaves his ID card at a crime scene, prompting a neighbor to deliver it to Linda's father. Linda discovers Felix's criminal life when he gifts her stolen jewelry. She confronts him in a garden where he confesses his mother died for lack of surgery money. He adds that his father turned to Robin Hood theft to help the poor and that he was recruited though he dreams of becoming a policeman. Linda wrestles with loving a wanted criminal while Precious warns her and Eddie pursues Precious with comic relief. P-Man erupts when he learns Linda is a policeman's daughter, calling Felix stupid, and the gang's pressure mounts as Felix insists he wants out for Linda. Linda, urged by her sister's discovery of the stolen ID card, confesses to her father that she has been dating one of the robbers he hunts. Gideon is shocked but moved by Linda's plea and her threat to harm herself if he does not help. He uses his influence to secure the release of Felix, Eddie, and P-Man after they are arrested. In a tense meeting at Linda's home, P-Man and Gideon confront their past because Gideon shot P-Man years earlier, yet they agree to peace for their children's sake. Felix formally asks for Linda's hand with a gift bag, and Linda accepts, declaring her love.
