In Forever Yours, the film opens in Lagos with Ruby shopping alongside friends before confronting Aberns over an unpaid debt of twenty million naira. Meanwhile Justin, a petroleum logistics entrepreneur, meets with business partners to discuss acquiring a bulk storage facility, a move that requires significant risk and borrowed capital. Their comfortable life shatters when armed officers arrest Justin at home, charging him with illegal procurement and distribution of adulterated petroleum products. Ruby watches helplessly as he is taken away after retrieving a lawyer's card from his drawer. With Justin in detention their accounts are frozen and the house, used as collateral for a loan, faces seizure. This forces the couple to sell their cars and move into a dilapidated apartment without running water. There Ruby fetches water in an alley and confronts the reality that she is mirroring her mother's suffering. She sells her luxury belongings to fund "Ruby's Locks" while Justin's appeals to friends like Kingsley fall flat because Kingsley accuses him of unexplained wealth. Bank officials arrive to seal the property despite Justin's claims of repayment. Ruby reaches a breaking point and confesses to Chichi that a wealthy admirer could solve their problems with one call, but her love for Justin keeps her from making it. Ruby's hair business explodes when celebrity friends display her wigs, flooding her phone with orders. At the same time Alfred, Justin's former employee, is arrested at a poolside and confronted by Justin, who reveals that Alfred orchestrated the adulterated petroleum scheme to embezzle funds. With Alfred in custody the case against Justin collapses, and the couple reunites in their restored home to celebrate with friends, dancing and expressing gratitude for having their lives back.
