Uninvited Bride

Chimatorodinihun arrives at a Lagos compound with her uncle and declares she is the wife of Atu Toyota, a musician who lives with his mother Fatima. She explains she sold her late father's only land for three million naira and sent the money to Atu for an online marriage. The real Atu is eleven years younger and has never met her. Fatima recoils at the age gap and the discovery that her son's identity was stolen. Atu's uncle refuses to get involved. Atu struggles under his mother's pressure to leave music for a steady job. His friend Tobi offers him work as a virtual assistant while secretly using Atu's photos and details to catfish women online. The deception collapses when Chim confronts Atu at his gate and livestreams the encounter. Fatima exposes Tobi's scheme and Tobi is arrested after Chim produces the transfer receipts. Left with nothing, Chim negotiates a barter arrangement with Fatima to work at the food stall Mama Fatima's Pot in exchange for meals. Atu, moved by a friend's advice to humble himself, joins her at the stall to earn money for studio time. Atu records a heartfelt track titled Nothing Beats My Mama's Love, and the song resonates deeply with Fatima before going viral on TikTok. Online orders flood the stall and a dispatch rider named Akpororo becomes a regular customer. Tobi's family pleads for his release and agrees to repay half the stolen funds. At that moment Atu kneels before Fatima and presents her with the keys to a spacious new shop, thanking her for every sacrifice. She is overwhelmed and credits God. Chim, now integrated into the household, accepts a marriage proposal from Akpororo and they set a wedding date dubbed ChimRo'25. Months later the extended family gathers for a joyous dinner at the new shop. Fatima dreams of a Guinness World Record for her cooking while Atu's music career gains momentum. Chim and Akpororo plan their wedding and the past fraud feels like a distant storm.
