Tari Love

Tamuno and Tari are inseparable in their fishing village, their days spent casting nets and selling catch beneath the Bayelsa sun. But restless ambition gnaws at Tamuno, who dreams of Lagos riches to return and marry Tari properly. Despite her tearful protests, he departs, promising calls that never come—his phone stolen during a police raid, landing him a month in custody, and when he finally reaches his mother, she lies that Tari has vanished.
