Sworn Enemies

In Sworn Enemies, Victoria is the only child of the late Tony, and she returns from the UK for his burial set on freezing out Ferdinand, her father's business partner. Ferdinand had organized the funeral, but Victoria has him locked out of her home anyway. When she confronts him at the office, she accuses him of betraying her father, pushes him away, and then begins sabotaging company affairs. She refuses to hear his side, confides in her friend Jess, and allies with Lucas Akindele Jasper, who encourages her to sell her shares and get back at Ferdinand. Her encounters with Ferdinand grow complicated because he still cares for her. When she is drunk and unwell, he looks after her, and those moments spark doubt in her mind. Ferdinand's partner Rukky grows jealous, and at a double date with Lucas and Rukky, the hidden agendas come to the surface. A bitter confrontation follows. Ferdinand stands firm and tells Victoria he loves her. He shows evidence that her father gambled away fifty million naira and left the company in debt, and that Ferdinand secretly arranged payment plans and salvaged her home and legacy. Victoria understands that her father lied to protect his image and that Ferdinand never betrayed them. Guilt pushes her to apologize for the accusations and the revenge attempts. Ferdinand accepts her apology, and Victoria returns his love. She promises to work twice as hard on the company and never to make major decisions without speaking to Ferdinand first.
