Dominic, a wealthy and controlling businessman, torments his wife Isabel through severe emotional and physical abuse, ignoring her menstrual pain and demanding her submission. In the film ROCK, PAPER, SCISSORS, Isabel secretly applies for a job to gain independence, but Dominic discovers this and reacts with hostility, forcing her to reject the offer while cutting her off from her friend Vicky. The cycle is punctuated by brief moments of false tenderness, such as giving her a period care kit, but his manipulation intensifies as he openly begins an affair with a mistress. Isabel's friend Vicky confronts Dominic about his cruelty, but he dismisses her and instead locks Isabel in the house, depriving her of food, water, and her phone. After learning of Isabel's imprisonment, Ayo arrives to save Isabel, giving her food and water. While at his mistress place, Vicky threatens Dominic with involving the authorities. While still in house, Dominic arrives. Isabel asks Ayo to run away. While attempting to run away, Dominic sees Ayo, the two fight and Dominic hits Ayo's head on the wall, causing Ayo to collapse. Dominic goes in to look for Isabel, the estate security arrives and asks Dominic if there was any problem, but Dominic lies and says no. Dominic finds Isabel in the house and attempts to kill her, choking her but Ayo arrives, hitting Dominic on the head with a stick. Dominic collapses. Ayo takes Isabel away, while the sirens of the authorities can be heard. Isabel finally escapes her abusive marriage.
