Storyline
"Onte (Stamp)" is a 2026 Yoruba supernatural thriller. A couple rents a three-bedroom flat at Number 13 Araromi Street for only 800,000 naira yearly—too cheap for such a nice place. They move in excited, but soon odd things happen. Neighbors sleepwalk, strange knocks come at night, and scary events unfold. The building feels alive, feeding on human greed. Tenants are trapped; to stay safe, they must share personal stories or face nightmares. Each door hides a horror tale. The couple tries to leave but the agreement binds them. Strange powers stop them. They watch other tenants suffer because of their bad desires. One woman turns into something dry and terrifying. The house targets greedy people and teaches hard lessons through fear. In the end, viewers learn that cheap things carry hidden costs. The film mixes mini horror stories in one building, showing how greed traps people. Onte 2 continues with more lessons on betrayal and consequences. Directed by Abiodun Jimoh, it stars Anike Ami Olaniyi, Abeni Agbon, Rai Jomo, and others. Runtime: 1 hour 26 minutes. Full of fear, surprise, and moral truth.
