At Uche's birthday party, a drunken dare leads Edward to pick shy church girl Cassandra and marry her with a makeshift ring; after a night together, Edward discovers she was a virgin and panics. When his fiancée Rita confronts him with 54 missed calls, Edward fumbles for answers. Meanwhile, Cassandra's mother Margaret, a strict pastor, insists on a virginity test. Cassandra confides in her friend Jane but ultimately refuses; Margaret forces a pregnancy test that comes back positive and throws Cassandra out. Homeless and pregnant, Cassandra arrives at Edward's house. Edward pretends she is a distant cousin to hide the truth from Rita, but Rita grows suspicious. Edward's sister Lily arrives and supports Cassandra. Edward decides to end his engagement; Rita accepts calmly but later sends goons to beat him. After the attack, Edward and Cassandra grow closer, and Edward proposes they start a life together. Eight months later, Edward officially proposes with a ring, and Cassandra accepts. They embrace, preparing to marry despite Rita's threats.
