Janice Ekobo, a wealthy philanthropist, loses her memory in a car accident, leaving her vulnerable. Her fiancé, Bernard, and her best friend, Farida, exploit this by faking her death and giving her a new identity as Dami, a maid in their household, to claim her inheritance. Years later, Gerard, a blogger who runs the truth-exposing site 'For Truth Only,' spots Dami on the street and recognizes her as Janice, the woman who once donated blood to save his cousin's life. He takes a job as a gate man at the house where she works, confiding in his friend Ebuka to research her past. Gerard discovers Janice was declared dead after the accident but believes Dami is her with amnesia. He confronts Dami, who initially denies it, but when he shows her old documents and photos, she begins to trust him. After overhearing Bernard and Farida arguing about financial troubles—Farida saying 'Janice is a ghost'—Dami confirms Gerard's suspicions. With his help, she recalls her true identity, and they gather evidence. Dami confronts Bernard and Farida, calling the police and declaring, 'Finally, someone remembers my name.' Bernard tries to blame Farida, but Dami has them both arrested for attempted murder and fraud. Janice begins rebuilding her life, reconnecting with her company and wealth. She visits Gerard to thank him, and a romantic spark forms, though Gerard hesitates to rush things, wanting her to heal. Eventually, she visits his home with gifts, and they share a moment of understanding. The movie ends with Janice asking if he finds her attractive; Gerard admits he cares deeply but wants to take things slow. They walk out together, hinting at a future.
