Liti Liti
Liti Liti centers around Guinaw-Rails, a forgotten, tight-knit suburb on the outskirts of Dakar, Senegal. The neighborhood is systematically destroyed by heavy machinery and bulldozers to clear a path for the Train Express Régional (TER), the grand flagship project symbolizing President Macky Sall's modernizing "Emerging Senegal" vision.

Storyline
Through an intimate, personal lens, filmmaker Mamadou Khouma Guèye documents the forced displacement of his childhood home. He explicitly follows his aging mother, Sokhna Ndiaye—a former political activist now dealing with declining health—as she packs up forty years of her life amid the roar of sledgehammers. The narrative brilliantly contrasts the government's sleek, progress-driven advertising campaigns with the harsh realities of everyday citizens who are uprooted without fair consultation or the compensation they were promised.
