Lekki Or Nothing

Tife, a cleaner in Lagos, is dumped by her boyfriend Bode who calls her bad luck. Returning home, she finds her former housemate Lala packing for Lekki, her cleaning business flourishing. Lala pays Tife's rent for a year but refuses to let Tife move in, claiming her house isn't ready. Tife visits Lala's boutique in Lekki and learns the secret: Lala used a 'business booster' powder from a fetish source. If Tife can raise 50,000 Naira, she can get the same. Tife lands a job, earns the money, and receives the powder. Her business booms; she buys a car and moves into Lala's home in Lekki. A friend warns Tife that the powder may cause infertility. Tife confronts the supplier, Mama, who confirms the powder's power came from a dead baba and users may sacrifice their future children. Horrified, Tife seeks help from a prophet. Meanwhile, a blogger threatens to expose the 'Lekki big girls' involved. The secret leaks, and Tife's landlord evicts her for 'internet theft and juju.' Homeless and exposed, Tife records an apology video encouraged by a friend, Richard. She admits her mistakes and vows to do better. The scandal fades. With Richard's support, Tife plans to restart her cleaning business legitimately. She reflects that true success cannot be built on shortcuts.
