In Just Two Of Us, Uju wakes early to care for the baby and their two older children, Daniela and DJ, while Daniel gets ready. Daniel scolds her over a small mess and warns her to get the kids ready in ten minutes or take an Uber. He leaves, and Uju tells her friend Jerry that marriage feels exhausting and thankless. Daniel complains to a colleague and ignores advice about business deals over beer. Later, he says he needs time away before their marriage is destroyed. He packs a suitcase and walks out, and Uju shouts that he cannot abandon her and the children. Her mother Mama arrives and promises a plan. Uju's friend Peggy is heartbroken when her lover Benga ends things. She is pregnant but refuses a friend's suggestion to terminate. Daniel returns, but Uju leaves that night with the baby, following his lead. He yells she cannot come back, but she goes. Daniel struggles alone with bedwetting, meals, and school, and his calls to Uju go unanswered. Through Uju's friend Jerry, he hires Peggy as a babysitter. DJ falls and hits his head, and Daniel rushes him to the hospital. His voice notes get no response, and Daniel's mother reveals she hid Uju to teach Daniel responsibility. Daniel and Peggy grow closer over shared meals and conversations about family. Peggy makes a move on him, but Daniel stops her. He says, 'You are not my wife,' and asks her to leave. Alone, he records a tearful voice message, apologizing for selfishness and begging for another chance. Uju, staying with Daniel's mother, listens, breaks down, and decides to go home. She returns with their daughter and finds Daniel asleep holding their son. When he wakes, he asks if she is really there, and they embrace. Uju says she needed rest, and they agree to talk. Daniel's mother explains she kept Uju away to monitor Daniel learning to parent, and tells them to do the marriage together. They reconcile. The next morning, Daniel offers to handle the kids while Uju makes breakfast.
