Jealous Housewife

In Jealous Housewife, Nengi and Bankole Thomas are a wealthy Lagos couple worn down by four failed fertility procedures. Nengi's desperation turns into constant suspicion, and she takes it out on her maid Veronica, listens to her friend Violet's alarmist advice, feeds Bankole herbal mixtures, and invites a prophet to pray away spiritual hindrances. Bankole insists the doctor says they are fine, but Nengi's behavior grows more erratic. The discovery that Bankole bought Veronica a dress leads her to fire the maid on the spot and threaten her. She also calls a woman she believes is involved with Bankole, vowing to expose her on social media. Bankole, already stressed about a work deal, receives a call from an old flame, Vivian, who reveals he has a grown daughter named Funke. He sets Funke up in an apartment, promising to introduce her properly when he returns from his business trip to Abuja. While Bankole is away in Abuja, Nengi and Violet track down the apartment and find a young woman inside, convinced she is the mistress. They beat her unconscious, leaving her fighting for her life. Bankole hears the news and rushes to the hospital, where Funke lies in critical condition and Vivian is furious with him. At the house, Nengi confronts him, and he reveals the horrifying truth: the woman she attacked is his own daughter. Enraged, Bankole tells her to leave and threatens her if anything happens to Funke. Nengi is shell-shocked. Her mother refuses to defend her, and Violet turns her away, leaving Nengi with her luggage. Nengi goes to the hospital and begs Funke for forgiveness, saying she acted out of fear and anxiety because she believed she was losing her husband to a younger woman. Funke listens and tells her she is forgiven. Bankole remains furious, but when Nengi faints, the doctor reveals she is pregnant. The news transforms the mood from grief to joy, and Bankole and Nengi embrace in tears as Funke joins them in celebrating the upcoming addition to the family.
