Storyline
Plunge deep into Idia's harrowing journey, rooted in Edo myths of cursed legacies. Orphaned after her mother's death and father's mysterious poisoning—later exposed as the adoptive family's sinister plot to claim her—Idia is lured into servitude under the guise of kindness by the childless couple, played chillingly by Mercy Aigbe and Tope Tedela. As a housekeeper, she's coerced into forbidden rites to bear their heir, awakening supernatural forces that erode her mind with visions of ancestral spirits demanding sacrifice. Linda Osifo shines as a manipulative relative, fueling the deception. At the same time, Gbubemi Ejeye's raw portrayal captures Idia's descent from naivety to madness, culminating in a blood-soaked ritual where she confronts the family's demonic pact, shattering illusions of love but reclaiming her autonomy in a fiery rebellion. Directed by Jide JBlaze Oyegbile and Ese Ariremu.
