Grand Finale

Ify pays a worker at the restaurant and tries to reach her boyfriend, Pastor Josiah, but his secretary says he is in a meeting. In Grand Finale, Simi is caught crying by her boss Mr. Sola and her colleague Chris, and she admits her boyfriend, an artist signed to Rook, has cheated on her with another woman. Rook and Jess talk on the phone about Simi's heartbreak, and Rook declines to fire the artist. Jess visits Rook at his office, they share a playful lunch date, and a close friendship begins. Chris finds Simi burning up at work and rushes her to the hospital. She recovers at home, looked after by her mother and friends. Teresa, Rook's sister, calls Jess and orders her to leave Rook, and she threatens her career and reputation, but Jess refuses to be intimidated. Ify grows suspicious after seeing a post by Josiah's secretary, and Josiah explains his own doubts after spotting a married man at her doorstep, so the two reconcile. Josiah then decides to propose to Ify and secretly recruits their friends to help plan the surprise. Rook wants to ask Jess out, and Ada encourages a skeptical Jess to give him a chance. The friends dress up and drive toward the surprise proposal, but one realizes she left her phone behind, so they turn back home. When they enter the living room, they find Josiah kneeling with a ring, ready to propose to Ify. The emotional moment brings everyone together, and the couple embraces as the proposal is accepted. In the aftermath, Simi tells Chris she is leaving for Togo for a few days to clear her head, and she thanks him for being like a big brother. The two share a warm hug.
