Fragile Comfort

After a failed online scam leaves them in debt and evicted, Jojo and his girlfriend 1K Dolls are destitute. In "Fragile Comfort", 1K Dolls devises a new plan to target lonely wealthy Nigerian women by orchestrating a prophecy to present Jojo as a God-sent man. Assuming the identity of struggling entrepreneur Dolapo, Jojo bumps into Celine, who quickly takes the bait, gifting him a phone and cash before inviting him and his supposed sister, Josephine, into her luxury home. The couple moves in, and Jojo deepens his fake relationship with Celine, then pitches a fraudulent renewable energy project and secures a 20 million Naira investment from her. Celine's sister Nicole grows suspicious and warns her, but Celine ignores the concerns. Tensions erupt when Celine confronts Josephine about her behavior; overwhelmed by jealousy, Josephine explodes, revealing that she and Jojo have been partners for seven years and that she engineered the entire scheme. Jojo tries to dismiss her as mentally unstable, but the con collapses as the truth comes to light. Celine chooses not to press charges, but a police investigation uncovers Jojo's history of cyber fraud, leading to his arrest. Months later, a pregnant Josephine returns to her parents' home. Her father initially rages but eventually reconciles, allowing her to stay.
