Flower Girl

Nancy lives happily with her husband Demola and young daughter Lily, who eagerly anticipates a baby brother. Friend Erica warns Nancy that Demola prioritizes Lily over her, sowing jealousy. When Demola forgets Nancy's apples but buys Lily a teddy bear and ice cream, Nancy accuses him of not wanting their unborn child. Her resentment toward Lily grows, and she begins shouting at her and denying privileges. Nancy fires maid Angela after catching her helping Lily call Demola. Together with Erica, she devises a plan to get rid of Lily. Nancy tricks Lily into a car ride, then abandons her on a deserted road, cruelly telling her she is not her mother and to find her real one. Lily is left alone and terrified. Returning from a business trip, Demola finds Lily missing and frantically searches, reporting to the police while Nancy feigns ignorance. Erica reveals the truth, enraging Demola, who confronts Nancy and threatens legal action. Meanwhile, Lily calls Angela using a memorized number. Angela borrows money for travel, rescues Lily, and keeps her safe until Demola arrives. Overjoyed, Demola thanks Angela and promises Lily he will always protect her. Demola brings Lily home, where he reads her a bedtime story and sings her to sleep. Nancy remains alone, remorseful but facing the consequences of her actions. The film ends with Demola and Lily sharing a peaceful moment, while Nancy's fate and the family's future hang in uncertainty.
