Felicia

In Felicia, a waitress named Felicia works at Crispula Restaurant & Bar. A cashier accuses her of shortchanging the day's takings. She returns a customer's lost wallet and earns a tip, but her boss scolds her for not reporting it first. Wanting a better life, she interviews for a housekeeping job with a wealthy woman named Doris and is hired under the name Felicia Chioma Dominic. At the Dike household, Doris's daughter Kimberly is rude to her, but Samantha, Doris's other daughter, becomes close to her. Struggling with money, Felicia sees a briefcase of cash in Doris's room and recruits an acquaintance, Chalinwa, to rob the house. The robbery goes wrong when Doris collapses and dies. Felicia feels guilty and returns to the family, and in time she marries Junior, Doris's widower. Five years later, Felicia is pregnant. Chalinwa confronts her and demands five million naira to stay quiet about her part in the robbery. To get the money, Felicia lies to Junior and says her mother is being pressured over a debt. Junior gives her the money. Instead of paying Chalinwa, she invites him to the house with a security officer present and confesses the entire truth to Junior. Chalinwa tries to blame her for the plan, but Junior decides not to press charges and warns Chalinwa to stay away from his family. Junior then reveals that Doris had a terminal illness and had deliberately stopped taking her medication, so her death was not caused by the robbery. He also explains that Doris had made him promise to remarry someone the children loved. Junior forgives Felicia, and she stays with him.
