The Efemena family prepares for Christmas with their usual opulence, but patriarch Elvis has been secretly running up overdrafts to fund appearances. His sons, Tega and Kewe, with their wives Voke and Onome, each grapple with personal conflicts: Tega pressures Voke to buy expensive gifts and impress his parents, while Onome, encouraged by Voke, launches a cooking YouTube channel that goes viral and angers the family. Elvis's financial strain mounts as his PA Ejire invents excuses to limit spending, yet the family's demands persist. Elvis confides in Voke about the debt, and she agrees to help manage the budget, but the situation deteriorates when the company accounts are frozen during the grand Christmas party, humiliating the family in front of guests. Menna, who had been unaware of the debt, confronts Elvis but later offers her own investments to cover the overdraft. Meanwhile, Voke accuses Tega of controlling her and suppressing her dreams; Tega retaliates by implying her position depends on having a child. After the party, Tega apologizes, revealing that he abandoned his own passion for sketching under societal pressure, and vows to support Voke's aspirations. The family, humiliated, resigns to a Christmas on a budget. Elvis and Menna reconcile, with Menna taking over the kitchen, and Tega announces that Voke is pregnant, bringing joy amidst the financial crisis. The family gathers for a humble Christmas dinner, toasting to their unity and embracing a simpler celebration focused on togetherness.
