Shaun Okojie

EARLY LIFE

Shaun Okojie was born on 8 November 1995 in Luton, England. He holds dual British and Nigerian citizenship and hails from Edo State in southern Nigeria (Benin/Bini roots). He spent part of his early years in the United Kingdom and has connections to both London and Lagos. He developed a strong interest in sports and physical fitness from a young age. He later attended the University of Bedfordshire, where he studied Sports Science (also referred to as Sport and Exercise Science), a field that aligned with his athletic pursuits.

CAREER

Shaun began as a footballer in England, playing as a centre-forward (striker). He stood 1.90 m (6 ft 3 in) tall. Notable clubs and achievements include: Corinthian-Casuals, where he scored an impressive 50 goals in 53 league appearances between roughly 2015 and 2017 and was named player of the year/season at King George’s Field. Other clubs: Hitchin Town, Aldershot Town, Wealdstone, Eastbourne Borough, Leatherhead, Concord Rangers, and Enfield Town. He was without a club from July 2021 onward after leaving Enfield Town, with his playing career affected by injury. Transfermarkt lists him as a free agent since then. After football, Shaun transitioned into modelling, acting, entrepreneurship, and content creation. In 2023 he appeared on the reality series In Love and Toxic: Blue Therapy (aired on YouTube and e4grams). Shaun Okojie is single and has no publicly known spouse or children. He keeps much of his private life low-key while remaining active on social media. He is an animal lover and has shared photos of his pet dog. He divides his time between London, Lagos, and more recently Los Angeles. During Big Brother Naija he entered as part of a friendship pairing known as “Shatoria” with model and travel consultant Victoria Onyenwere Uchechi; the pair had been friends for over a year prior to the show, having connected in Dubai through shared interests in travel and nightlife.
