Jerry Ndukwe and his wife Rita face unrelenting pressure from Jerry's mother Philo over Rita's inability to conceive after five years. In the film "BLOOD BETRAYAL," Philo demands Jerry send Rita away, then returns with a woman named Ada as a new wife. Jerry throws them out, but Philo claims that Rita used juju on him. Uju reveals she is pregnant and refuses to terminate the pregnancy sending Rita into a desperate spiral that leads to a physical fight with her sister.

Storyline

Jerry and Rita's marriage faces its greatest test in BLOOD BETRAYAL as his mother Ifeoma's relentless demands that Rita be cast out for infertility escalate. Ifeoma arrives with Ada, declaring her Jerry's new wife, prompting an enraged Jerry to physically remove both women. Lashing out, Ifeoma claims that Rita must have placed a juju curse on Jerry and blames Rita for all family problems. Desperate to hold her marriage together, Rita later insists on terminating Uju's pregnancy, even fighting with her sister Uju who opposes the plan. In a dramatic twist, the doctor announces that Rita herself is pregnant, explaining her recent erratic actions. Rita reconciles with Uju, tearfully apologizing for her selfishness. Jerry returns home and shares a tender moment with Rita, assuring her that everything will be fine. The family begins to heal, moving past the suspicion and hostility that had torn them apart.
