Another You

Eric Isime, a successful real estate CEO, is called home by his mother to see his dying father Anthony in the film 'Another You.' Refusing at first, his CFO and friend Anne persuades him with a story about losing her own brother, and he relents. Arriving at his father's house, he meets Vera, the nurse who cares for Anthony with gentle hands but a guarded heart. Though their first encounter bristles with tension, Eric soon begins to thaw toward the man who abandoned him. But his return draws more than family—it attracts three women: Evelyn, a boss babe with business on her mind; Hannah, a badass neighbor who lives without brakes; and Vera, a mama bear whose kindness hides deeper wounds. On a call with Anne, he laughs as he labels them, unaware that his casual categorization will ignite a comedic war for his attention. As Eric tentatively rebuilds his relationship with Anthony—an apology from the old man cracking the ice—Vera vanishes without a trace. The police descend, pointing fingers at Eric, and he finds himself arrested, his world collapsing into a criminal investigation. His lawyer Jesse and Anne arrive to fight for him, but the breakthrough comes when Vera reappears, arm in arm with her ex-husband Alexander, who confesses he staged her disappearance to win her back. Vera and Alexander reconcile, leaving Eric cleared but shaken. In the chaos, a truth surfaces: he has been looking for 'another you'—a woman like Anne, his steadfast colleague and former flame. He pours out his heart, asking for a second chance. Anne admits she broke off her engagement because she never stopped loving him. They fall back into each other's arms, and Eric brings her to his family, introducing her as his girlfriend. Vera and Alexander find their own peace, and Anthony, now at peace with his son, blesses both couples. The film closes with Eric and Anne locked in an embrace, having found their way back—not to something new, but to what they always were.
