Storyline
After the tragic death of their young daughter Obaloluwa, Oyedele and his wife Ayomisoluwa move from Abeokuta to Lagos to start anew. Ayomisoluwa grieves intensely, often hallucinating her daughter’s image on other children, which strains their relationship. In Lagos, a neighbor tells her that Oyedele is unfaithful. She confirms this when she finds him at a local lounge with the female manager. Devastated, she turns to her friend Temisan, who gives questionable advice: Ayomisoluwa should learn from the other woman and change her appearance to win back her husband. Despite her efforts to dress and act differently, Oyedele remains distant, focusing on his career. Their home becomes a battleground of heated arguments followed by brief, superficial reconciliations. The emotional gap widens as they fail to address the root of their pain. In the movie OGIRI, the couple’s future remains uncertain, trapped between past trauma and present betrayal, questioning whether their love can survive.
