In 14 Days, Dorothy George lives in Lagos with her teenage daughter Chinagorom and her sister Nene. She is a devoted single mother and a career-driven employee, and she often says all men are worthless because of a traumatic experience in her youth. At her office, the outgoing managing director hands the company to his son, Dozie Nwachukwu. Dozie denies Dorothy a well-deserved promotion because she is unmarried, so Dorothy reluctantly agrees to Nene's matchmaking. Nene sets up a dating profile and blind dates, and Chinagorom secretly begins a relationship with a young man named Ike. She pressures Dorothy to find a date for the upcoming Valentine's Day party because she hopes it will change Dozie's mind about the promotion. At work, Dorothy and Dozie clash repeatedly until she calls him chauvinistic, egotistic, and arrogant. He responds with a fruit basket and an apology, and they slowly grow closer.
