EARLY LIFE
Akinyoola Ayoola was born on 14 June 1992 in Oyo State, Nigeria. He is a native of Ipetumodu in Osun State and grew up in Ibadan, Oyo State. He attended primary and secondary school in Ibadan and later obtained a Higher National Diploma (HND) in Mass Communication from a polytechnic.
CAREER
Kamo State rose to fame through short comedy skits on Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube. He gained massive popularity with the NEPA Boys series, which he created with partner Ozain Ibadan (Hussein Mubarak Kehinde). His skits are mostly in Yoruba and English and focus on everyday Nigerian life, street humour, relationships, and social issues. He has since transitioned into acting and featured in major Nollywood films such as Everybody Loves Jenifa (2024) and Crazy Family (2025). He is also a brand influencer and MC.
PERSONAL LIFE
Kamo State married content creator and entrepreneur Esther Olamide (also known as Esther Mide or Mrs Esther Akinyoola) on 4 December 2024 in Lagos after proposing in September 2024. Their wedding was attended by several Nollywood stars including Funke Akindele, Odunlade Adekola, Iyabo Ojo, and Mercy Aigbe. The couple has two daughters, including their newborn Sonia Olufunke Oluwatamilore (born April 2025, named after Funke Akindele). He keeps most family matters private but occasionally features his wife and mother in skits.
