Daniel Etim Effiong is a Nigerian Nollywood actor, writer,producer, and filmmaker, he was born in jaji town Kaduna state, Daniel Etim Effiong studied chemical engineering at the federal university of technology Minna, then he later embarked on filmmaking as a career at the AFDA film school in south Africa and also the university of Johannesburg,the actor had starred in a lot of films and TV shows like, fishbone, castle & castle, he is married to Toyosi Etim Effiong and has three children
EARLY LIFE
Born on June 24, 1988, in Jaji, Kaduna State, Nigeria. Lived in Benin City, Lagos, and Abuja during youth. Father, Lt. Col. Moses Effiong, imprisoned for life at age one, released in 1993, pardoned in 2020. Mother died at age four. Attended St. Mary's Private School, Lagos Island, and Government College, Ikorodu. Degree in chemical engineering from Federal University of Technology, Minna. Studied filmmaking at AFDA Film School, South Africa.
CAREER
Began as content producer for NdaniTV. Roles in series like Goddammit It's Monday (2012), Gidi Up (2013), Castle & Castle (2018-2021), The Men's Club (2018). Feature debut New Money (2018). Breakthrough in Plan B (2019), winning Best Actor in a Comedy at 7th AMVCA 2020. Directed shorts Prey (2017), Fish Bone (2020), Storm (2020), documentary Skin (2020). Notable films: Kofa (2022), Blood Sisters (2022), A Weekend to Forget (2023), Òlòtūré: The Journey (2024), The Herd (2025).
