Susan starts her first day as a personal assistant, encouraged by Inah, her cousin and roommate. At the office, Miss Bola fires an interior designer and warns Susan that all previous assistants quit within a month. On a site visit, Bola mistakes a man in an apron for the help, unaware he is Theo, the wealthy founder of a tech company. Susan recognizes him, but she says nothing. She later returns alone to apologize and photograph the study Theo wants to redesign in memory of his late father. Susan struggles to meet Theo's expectations, and she falls asleep at his home while working on a design concept. Theo shares old photographs of his father's study and explains how much the space means to him. Susan shifts her approach, creating a mood-based design that evokes the feelings of safety and love Theo described, and the design impresses him. They discover that Susan once freelanced on Theo's platform as 'Queen Suzy,' and this deepens their relationship. Theo drives her home, and the meal they share turns their bond romantic. When Miss Bola learns Theo's true identity, she tries to take over the project. She accuses Susan of seducing him. Miss Bola humiliates Susan in the car, and Susan resigns after an angry confrontation. Theo hears that Susan has resigned, and he immediately pulls his contract from Bola's firm. He goes to Susan's home and insists he wants only her to handle his project. He offers her a role designing his new office space, and he confesses his feelings. Theo asks her to be his girlfriend, and Susan accepts. They share a kiss, and the two become a couple. Inah stays with them at Theo's house because her own place is undergoing renovation. Susan and Theo try to keep their relationship secret, but Inah reveals she already knew. She approves of the match and jokes about playing third wheel. With the secret out, Susan and Theo begin working together on the office interior.
