YOURS BEFORE WORDS

Adora's date with Maurice ends in anger when he confesses to being a married steward, and she later vents to her friend Bubbles. After Adora own disastrous date with a fraudulent pastor, Adora and her friend Bubbles go shopping, where they meet Xavier, a CEO, who pays their bill. In 'YOURS BEFORE WORDS', Adora becomes fascinated by Xavier because she cannot read his mind, and she confides in her mother Evi, who instead criticizes her friendship with Bubbles. Xavier becomes increasingly obsessed, cancelling meetings and proposing marriage. However, when Adora overhears Xavier's ex's thoughts accusing him of past infidelity, she confronts him and ends their engagement, cutting all ties. Both are left devastated: Adora mourns alone while Xavier drinks heavily. Seeking guidance, Adora prays by her mother's memory. In a moment of despair, Adora has a vision of Xavier proposing with her grandmother present, leading her to realize he is her soulmate. While preparing to go find Xavier, he arrives with roses and they reconcile. Adora apologizes for her lack of trust, and Xavier promises no more secrets. They share an intimate moment, reaffirming their commitment. The film ends with the couple happy and united as credits roll over an aerial shot of the city.
