After the sudden death of their parents, sisters Lina and Beauty are evicted by a scheming uncle and taken in by their aunt Ema, who can only afford a cramped room in a dangerous slum. In *Who We Have Become*, the family's struggle deepens as Lina begins selling water on the streets, catching the eye of a charming older man named Zack. Ignoring Ema's warnings, Lina glimpses a way out of poverty—until a sunny afternoon turns into a nightmare when Zack reveals his true intentions, dragging her into a dark room where her life is worth only the sum of her organs. As Beauty watches the kidnapper's car disappear, she clings to a single, vital detail: the license plate number KTU 472 HG.

Storyline

In *Who We Have Become*, the sudden death of parents leaves sisters Lina and Beauty at the mercy of an uncle who evicts them, stealing their home. Their aunt Ema, fierce but poor, gathers them into a cramped room in a slum where cracked walls whisper danger. Desperate, Lina hawks sachet water on streets, navigating indifferent cars and leering men. Among them is Zack, a charming predator whose attention feels like an escape from the slum—until he locks her in a dark room and reveals his trade in human organs. Beauty, watching in horror, etches his license plate into her memory, a frantic code holding her sister's only hope. Ema's world collapses into finding Lina, but the police demand a bribe to act. With neighbor James—whose quiet presence has anchored the family—she turns to a lawyer friend, a man framed by the same uncle years ago to seize the girls' inheritance. In bitter symmetry, the lawyer uses Beauty's plate number, KTU 472 HG, to track Zack, and a raid tears the monster from his den. The rescue is ragged: Lina is pulled out barely breathing, a fragile victory. The lawyer uncovers the parents' will, naming Ema guardian and restoring the house, so the family returns, dragging trauma through a door now foreign. But safety is fleeting: a relative named Nebo arrives, welcomed until he pulls out a wig that jolts Ema, her past unspoken. In the final frame, the three women hold each other, determined to face what comes, even as the floor hints at cracks not sealed.
