Whatever She Wants

Eric, a university graduate unable to find work, confides in his girlfriend Candy that he will take any job to support her. In Whatever She Wants, Sharon, a wealthy businesswoman, is haunted by childhood abandonment and sexual abuse by her uncle, cousins, and a gateman. She has developed a hatred of men and a pattern of using and discarding them. Eric secures a position as Sharon's personal driver, and his integrity is tested immediately. Sharon makes bold sexual advances toward Eric, offering money and power, but he refuses, citing his commitment to Candy and his self-respect. Her behavior becomes erratic: she fires staff impulsively, sends compromising photos of herself with Eric to Candy's phone, and tries to bribe Candy to leave Eric. Candy remains steadfast and supports Eric through the turmoil. Sharon's friend and therapist begin guiding her toward confronting her trauma. Eric discovers Sharon stole his phone to sabotage his relationship, confronts her, and quits despite her firing him. Left alone, Sharon reaches a breaking point and fully engages in therapy, where she begins to process her past and learns that forgiveness is for her own liberation. Eric and Candy reunite and prepare to leave. A transformed Sharon calls them to her home to express gratitude, and she gifts them a cheque for twenty million naira. Sharon continues her therapy.
