The Other Side Of Love

Mrs. Dolly Briggs, refusing her medication in the silent luxury of her home, mourns her son Jerry until her maid Boma delivers the news of his car accident death. The grief-stricken mother collapses, but a woman named Sonia arrives to fuel her fury, claiming Jerry's fiancée intentionally caused the crash. Grabbing her car keys, Mrs. Briggs intends to confront the accused, though Kunle, Jerry's lawyer friend, arrives to calm the situation. Meanwhile, another woman, Raquel, offers condolences while hiding her own guilt—Boma overhears threatening calls, and Kunle begins to suspect her involvement in the film The Other Side of Love. As Kunle investigates, he finds that Raquel has been manipulating events, poisoning Mrs. Briggs and engineering Jerry's death from jealousy. Confronted with evidence, Raquel panics and confesses to killing Jerry and others who hurt her, then attempts to flee but is arrested. With the truth revealed, Kunle exonerates the fiancée, Sonia, and brings her to Mrs. Briggs, who apologizes for her accusations. The family reconciles, the weight of suspicion lifted. Kunle then reveals his love for Sonia, proposing to her amidst the gathered family and friends. Sonia accepts, and the group hugs, finding closure. The film ends with the engaged couple smiling, the tragedy behind them, and a new bond formed.
