The Love Plan

David ends his relationship with Franca during a dinner date and dismisses her pleas with cold practicality. Franca returns home to sleepless nights and growing disputes with her neighbor Tolu over noise and parking. Desperate to win David back, Franca approaches Tolu and learns he is a therapist. She convinces him to devise a love plan to make David jealous and offers payment for his expertise. Tolu overhauls Franca's wardrobe and coaches her on behavior for a staged encounter at Crave Bar, David's favorite haunt. Tolu poses as Franca's new date but the plan goes wrong when David arrives with Veronica who identifies herself as his ex. Tolu privately investigates David and uncovers he is secretly married to a white woman and preparing to relocate to the UK. Tolu confronts Franca with the truth and shatters her hopes of reconciliation. Franca confronts David at his apartment where he admits the marriage and frames it as a pragmatic future move while mocking her for crawling back into his bed. The confrontation turns physical and verbal as Franca strikes him and condemns him as a fraud. David departs with a final cruel dismissal and leaves Franca devastated on the floor. Tolu finds Franca at her apartment and apologizes for overstepping but she thanks him for exposing David's deceit. In a vulnerable moment Tolu confesses genuine feelings for Franca and admits he fell for her while orchestrating the plan. Despite her fears of repeating past mistakes and his playboy reputation Tolu vows to change and asks only for time to prove himself. They share a hug and agree to explore a relationship with each other.
