Daniel Abua was born on 15 March 1995 in Delta State, Nigeria. He is of the Urhobo ethnic group. He grew up in Delta State and later moved to Lagos to pursue a career in acting. He studied at Delta State University (DELSU), where he obtained a degree in Mass Communication.

Daniel Abua began his acting career around 2018–2019 and has steadily built a filmography in contemporary Nollywood. He is known for his charming looks, calm demeanour, and natural acting style, often playing romantic, supportive, or gentlemanly roles.
