Spice Of Love

Amina Rashid, daughter of wealthy Alhaji, is engaged to Hassan against her will. On a business trip to Lagos, she has a one-night stand with Imo, a chef she later learns is the son of oil magnate Mr. Ikang. Returning to Abuja, she discovers she is pregnant and, refusing her family's demand to abort, flees to Lagos with help from her assistant Gambo. There she reconnects with Imo and begins a relationship, initially hiding the pregnancy. She confides in her friend Titi as Alhaji and Hassan search for her; Hassan tries and fails to bribe Gambo for her location. Determined to secure a major oil contract without marrying Hassan, Amina discovers that Imo's father holds the key. She meets Mr. Ikang, who offers a partnership if she marries Imo—a condition she refuses. Mr. Ikang then reveals her pregnancy to Imo, sparking a confrontation over her secrecy. Hassan threatens Amina in a parking lot, but Imo intervenes. When the business deal appears lost, Amina proposes an alternative arrangement that Mr. Ikang accepts. Later, complications in her pregnancy land her in the hospital, where she nearly dies but survives. Alhaji, witnessing her ordeal, apologizes for his earlier actions. Amina's company wins the Enyin oil bid, cementing her independence. Hassan's wedding is called off, and Alhaji fully accepts Imo. The film ends with a family dinner where plans for Amina and Imo's wedding are underway, everyone reconciled. Amina asserts her agency, choosing love and family over the path laid out for her—a choice that reshapes her future.
