Storyline
Sarah arrives in Lekki fresh from a poor upbringing, a single CV in hand for Global Human Resources. A taxi fare dispute introduces her to childhood friend Alex, who reveals herself as the company's CEO. Alex offers Sarah a job and a room in her opulent home, an act of generosity that binds them in daily intimacy. Through Alex's social orbit, Sarah meets Brian, a wealthy man, and begins a relationship built on borrowed finery—Alex's car, Alex's clothes—to hide her true circumstances. When Sarah confesses the deception, Brian accepts her, but Alex, who has long adored Brian, cannot. Alex's jealousy seeps into barbed comments about her own history with Brian, sowing suspicion between the couple. Matters escalate when Alex tells Brian's mother that Sarah is a prostitute. Brian's mother confronts Sarah publicly, hurling insults and forbidding the relationship. Sarah, devastated, ends things with Brian. But Brian presses his mother to investigate; she discovers the truth and apologizes. With his mother's blessing, Brian reconciles with Sarah and invites her, Alex, and his mother to a gathering. There, he declares his love and proposes. Sarah accepts, and Alex, unable to stomach the scene, slips away as the couple embraces their future.
