The movie Professor Madu is a funny love story set in a village. A young man called Maduka dresses in an old style with high-waisted trousers, suspenders, bowties and a flat cap. Storyline
In 'Professor Madu', Maduka appears to be a simple village teacher and ice cream seller with a strange fashion style and a love for big grammar. He is mocked by Agatha and others. Despite this, he asks Lucy out and agrees to her family's tough tests to prove his love. He does hard chores like carrying loads, cooking, and washing underwear while a wealthy ex-boyfriend Obinna laughs at him. But when Maduka takes Lucy to a city restaurant, he reveals his true identity. He is actually a rich man with a Ph.D. who hid his wealth to find true love. Because Lucy loved him for himself, he proposes and she accepts. Agatha later tries to win Maduka back but he reminds her she mocked him when she thought he was poor. Obinna is left stunned when he sees Maduka's real car. In the end, Maduka transforms into stylish clothes and drives off with Lucy in his own luxury SUV, leaving the judgmental villagers behind. A funny and sweet tale about looking beyond appearances.
