My Wife My Property
In "My Wife My Property," Nmachi, a beautiful woman running a local restaurant, is married to Ichaka, a possessive mechanic who views her as his property. Deeply in love, Ichaka's jealousy flares whenever men are drawn to her charm, leading to family tensions. He suggests having many children to deter admirers, while his overreactions strain their bond. Amidst this, a kind stranger, Dr. Dan, enters her life after an accident, sparking further conflicts in their marriage.
Storyline
In "My Wife My Property," Nmachi is a stunning wife to the authoritative mechanic Ichaka, who adores her but treats her as his possession, enraged by men's attention at her restaurant. Jealousy escalates when Dr. Dan nearly hits her with his car, treats her ankle, buys her food, and drops her home, prompting neighbors to inform Ichaka and causing fights, though he never physically abuses her. Dan, lusting after Nmachi, tricks her into a cooking contract at his house to seduce her; she flees and lies about a robbery. A scorned woman warns Nmachi that Dan is a psycho who ruined her engagement and boasts of conquering any woman. Dan sends flowers and gifts; Nmachi rejects them but unwittingly accepts one, leading to more marital strife. Dan offers Ichaka 20 million to divorce her; advised by friend Dube, Ichaka pretends to accept to test Nmachi's loyalty. She refuses Dan, heartbroken, but upon discovering the ruse, the couple reconciles.
