Sifon Essien fails to record a promotional video at home, arriving late to a meeting where her boss Mariano approves her campaign for middle-aged users but gives a one-month deadline. Her widowed mother refuses to date, while her colleague Toby deals with his alcoholic widower father who cannot move on. Desperate for test subjects, Sifon secretly creates a dating profile for her mother and begins chatting with a man she believes is a potential match—unaware that the profile belongs to Toby, who created it for his father. Both keep up the charade, each pretending to be their respective parent, while at work the tension between Sifon and Toby intensifies due to a past romantic falling out. Sifon's mother discovers the profile and demands its deletion; Toby's father also refuses to meet his match. During a team meeting, the group realizes that two of the test subjects are actually the parents' profiles, forcing Sifon and Toby to confront their personal issues. In a parking lot, Sifon confesses she hates everything about Toby but still loves him, and Toby admits he feels the same. They embrace and reconcile. Sifon and Toby go on a proper date at a rooftop lounge, sharing champagne and apologizing for past mistakes, finally moving forward together. The movie ends with the two enjoying each other's company, their professional and personal conflicts resolved.
