Storyline
Nonso, a tricycle driver, celebrates a 200,000 naira football bet win only to have the ticket snatched, beginning a streak of bad luck he blames on stealing church offering. He confides in his friend Darey about his misfortunes. Meanwhile, corn seller Becky laments her own robbery, and her friend Sharon advises spiritual help. Nonso and Becky meet when Nonso buys corn but cannot pay, claiming his money was stolen. Despite their reputations for bad luck, they bond and start a relationship. Their friends warn them against double bad luck, but they proceed, facing obstacles: Nonso's tricycle is stolen, he oversleeps for a job interview, and their wedding day is marred by a broken tricycle. After marriage, their hardships worsen. Nonso's tricycle accident leaves him injured, and they struggle financially.
