David has just wrapped a romantic proposal scene on a film set. A young actress asks for a photograph, and he rudely dismisses her, so she is humiliated. His girlfriend Precious tells him to quit acting or their relationship cannot work. David refuses because the woman he marries must trust him, and they break up. That actress is Seun, whose boyfriend Eric canceled their planned Dubai trip and ignores her calls. David and Seun are later cast as leads in a new film, and Seun is cold and hostile from the first rehearsal. Their bickering disrupts production, and Seun hits David for real during a fake-slap scene, causing shouting and near walkouts. In It's About Us, they talk over pizza in a hotel room, and David asks why she hates him. Seun quotes the harsh words he used two years earlier. David apologizes and says he cannot remember the moment, but he was wrong. She admits she should have spoken up sooner. They start over, and a poolside kiss begins to make their acting feel real. Seun says she wants real and lasting love, and David tells her about his near-proposal to Precious. He asks Seun to give them a real chance. She worries the roles caused their feelings, so they agree to avoid each other after the shoot. They separate, and during the months apart Seun dates others but realizes she wants David. She tells her friend Vanessa she must go to him. David never appears at the restaurant but sends roses and a letter saying he was afraid and waits where their story began. At the poolside spot, he apologizes, admits he missed her for six months, and says the girl in his profile photo is his half-sister. Their reunion is lighthearted, and the film ends as Seun and her friend playfully plan what to do with David.
