Rema confides in his friend Fred about his intense attraction to Stacy, a younger woman he cannot stop thinking about despite his love for his wife Annie. He buys Stacy flowers, and Annie, sensing something amiss, confronts him. Rema admits his feelings, and though hurt, Annie appreciates his honesty and suggests counseling. Rema begins therapy with a female counselor who normalizes his urges as a fear of aging, while Annie struggles, confiding in her friend Beauty who urges her to leave, but Annie chooses to support Rema. Rema tells Stacy he is married and that his wife knows, which intrigues her; she decides to win him over. He goes on a date with Stacy but later prioritizes a movie night with Annie, rejecting Stacy's invitation. Stacy becomes obsessed, showing up at their home with juice, infuriating Annie, who warns her away, and Rema scolds Stacy for crossing a line. In therapy, Rema realizes he cannot cheat emotionally or physically. He nearly succumbs to Stacy's seduction but stops himself, remembering his wife. He tells his counselor he feels in control and plans to recreate fun with Annie. He ends things with Stacy, apologizing for leading her on. Later, Stacy visits Annie to say goodbye, admitting Rema is a good man who never lied. Rema and Annie reconcile over a meal, Rema asks forgiveness, and they embrace. Stacy leaves for vacation, and the couple moves forward together.
