Storyline
Paul, a successful lawyer, meets Damilola through a blind date arranged by his father. Despite arriving late, they connect instantly, marry, and have a daughter, Phoebe. Their life is idyllic until Damilola takes Phoebe and the maid, Oge, to the supermarket. Unable to find parking, she leaves them in the car on the roadside; a trailer crashes into the vehicle, killing Phoebe and badly injuring Oge. Dami spirals into grief, refusing to eat or leave Phoebe's room, while Paul channels his pain into suing the trailer company. Paul learns that the arrested driver, Akintunde, is not the real culprit—his brother Deji was driving to let Akintunde rest. Deji confesses and begs forgiveness, but Paul insists on prosecuting both. Damilola, after a spiritual awakening and a visit to the driver's sick mother, convinces Paul to show mercy. He drops all charges, choosing forgiveness over vengeance. A year later, Dami is pregnant with twins. The couple has reconciled, their bond strengthened. In a tender scene, Paul massages Dami's feet while speaking lovingly to her belly, grateful for their future. The film ends with a sense of healing as they embrace the new life ahead.
