Heaven's Angel

Rebecca sells paintings door-to-door in Lagos while fending off her impatient landlord. A roadside clash with Mike, a wealthy executive in a white Mercedes SUV, sparks a heated exchange. Chief, Mike's father, has paid Rebecca 500,000 Naira to attend a blind date in Heaven's Angel. Chief hopes the date will pull Mike from a two-year spiral of bitterness after his divorce from Bolu. Bolu cheated and passed off another man's child as Mike's. At dinner Mike offers Rebecca more money to call Chief and falsely reject him, and she takes the payment but later confronts him about the double dealing. Chief then arranges her hire as Mike's executive assistant through a laundry service connection. Mike tries repeatedly to fire her but Chief overrides him. Despite impossible deadlines and public humiliation Rebecca's competence and kindness win over the office staff including Frank. A fragile truce forms and deepens as Rebecca encourages Mike to reconcile with his estranged daughter Kim. Their friendship blossoms into romance until Rebecca collapses at work and is hospitalized. Doctors diagnose a pre-existing coronary artery disorder requiring risky surgery and discover she is three weeks pregnant with Mike's child. The baby faces an 80-20 survival chance but Mike refuses to consider termination, declaring he cannot lose her. At her bedside Mike proposes marriage with a ring and vows to take his chances on love again, and Rebecca accepts tearfully and they seal their commitment with a kiss. Rebecca recovers and the couple moves forward as a family unit. Mike introduces her to Chief with pride and the earlier friction dissolves into warmth. At a project signing celebration Rebecca presents a successful construction report and earns Mike's public praise and a heartfelt hug, and Chief watches from the doorway and acknowledges her with a quiet greeting signaling his approval.
