Heart Impossible

Jeremy arrives in Abuja for a break from university and stays with his old friend Chima. There, he finds Ada, Chima's sister, nursing a recent heartbreak. Jeremy steps in to care for her, cooking meals and offering emotional support, all while battling his own long-standing affection for her. When he finally confesses his love, Ada politely rejects him, explaining she sees him only as a younger brother. Undeterred, Jeremy hatches a plan: using his uncle Stan's phone, he sends Ada romantic texts, pretending to be Stan. Ada responds warmly, believing she has found a new love. Their virtual romance blossoms, and Ada arranges to meet Stan in person. When the real Stan appears, they immediately hit it off, unaware of Jeremy's meddling. The deception comes to light when Ada mentions the texts to Stan, who knows nothing about them. Confronted, Jeremy admits his scheme, leading to a fallout with both Ada and his uncle. Despite the exposure, Jeremy continues to pursue Ada, but she firmly reiterates her love for Stan, dismissing Jeremy's feelings as mere infatuation. Stan also confronts Jeremy, forcing him to face the damage he has caused. In a final heartfelt conversation, Jeremy apologizes to Ada for his behavior and acknowledges her choice. Ada forgives him, thanking him for his earlier kindness, and they share a warm hug. Jeremy resolves to move on, leaving Ada and Stan to celebrate their relationship. The film closes on a note of reconciliation, with Jeremy accepting the consequences of his actions and Ada finding happiness with Stan.
