Fight For Me

Rex comes home with his school report, second in a class of sixteen. His father Damian is proud, but his mother Mabel is livid because the first-place student is Sharon, daughter of her former friend Vera. Mabel berates Rex for losing, while Vera rewards Sharon with gifts for winning, setting the children against each other. The two mothers push them into constant conflict, involving school officials and threatening expulsion. The rivalry turns physical, with fights breaking out. Sharon's friend Kate advises her to think critically, and Damian warns Mabel about the consequences. After a violent school brawl, Rex and Sharon run away together, spending the night in an abandoned building, where they confess their exhaustion and desire for peace.
