This movie called Celine shows the hidden struggles and big changes for a young girl with dwarfism. She goes to Laura Stephens Secondary School and faces many problems. In Civic Education with Teacher Ada, she disrupts class with wrong answers to words like responsibility and spoon. She jokes and says ask Google. Teacher Ada gets angry, sends her out and says she will never graduate. Teacher Ada complains to Principal Dr. Obed. He calls the girl a dunce and says her guardian wastes money on school. Two tutors already quit. Older kids bully her by throwing food, tearing books and using bad names. At home, her aunt who she calls mom comforts her as a bright star and cooks favorite meal. But it is fake. Flashback shows aunt went to shrine for wealth. Priest said adopted girl Celine has great destiny and stars. Aunt must never marry and keep girl from learning to get the money. Aunt agreed. Then aunt's fiancé Frank quits bank job for teaching. He becomes English teacher at the school. Aunt is angry about money and wedding. She forbids him from tutoring the girl. In Frank's class, girl gives wrong answer on paragraphs. Class laughs but Frank stops it. He stops a bully and makes apology. He notices the girl. At home meal, girl struggles with knife and fork. Aunt calls her idiot. Frank defends but aunt says child is worthless. Frank tests reading and finds dyslexia. School failed her. He tells aunt and offers tutoring. Aunt refuses angrily and threatens relationship. Frank secretly tutors her after school with patience. He talks to principal and Teacher Ada for help. One year later, girl changes a lot. She walks with old bullies confidently. In class she answers hard question well. Class gives standing ovation and teacher smiles proud. At home aunt shocked when girl reads book fluently. Frank proud. Aunt knows shrine broken. She packs bags and leaves in anger. Finally Frank drives girl to school.
