Storyline
Campus Chronicles S1E1 opens with Kevwe, a struggling freshman from a poor background, getting fired from his gym job after a fight, leaving him unable to pay school fees. He lies to his mother while eating noodles. Meanwhile, arrogant Jonathan, son of gubernatorial candidate Honorable Douglas, arrives in a Lexus convoy. When the convoy nearly hits stylish Bela, Jonathan insults her; Kevwe intervenes and humiliates Jonathan’s bodyguard in a fight. Fate makes Kevwe and Jonathan hostile roommates. Jonathan tries bribing Kevwe to leave; Kevwe pockets the cash but stays. In the girls’ hostel, Bela rooms with unhappy Somma (forced into Business Management despite wanting Music) and Amirah, whose severe OCD triggers constant cleaning conflicts. A bombshell flashback reveals Honorable Douglas abandoned his mistress Lydia and their son—Kevwe—years ago, making Jonathan and Kevwe half-brothers. Kevwe knows and burns with resentment; Jonathan remains oblivious. Desperate, Kevwe takes a humiliating canteen job. Jonathan later spots him serving and mockingly offers him work as personal bodyguard. Kevwe refuses. The episode ends with screaming fights in the girls’ room over Amirah’s OCD and silent warfare between the secret half-brothers, promising explosive future confrontations.
