Between Salt And Sugar

The story in Between Salt & Sugar starts when Sharon's boyfriend Fola breaks up with her at dinner because he wants certainty. She feels bad and thinks men always leave her. Her mother and sister Precious comfort her. At the pharmacy, Ademide comes for headache medicine. He heard her at the restaurant and likes her. He comes back and asks for her number. They text and he sends food from his restaurant. He gives them a ride and asks for a date. But Sharon is scared and stands him up. Ademide confronts her and says he wants a real commitment. Sharon apologizes at his home and they start dating. They are happy for months with exercise, cooking and good times. At their anniversary picnic, Ademide wants four children. Sharon worries because she has PCOS that makes babies hard. She tells him and he says he loves her anyway. Then Ademide collapses from high blood pressure. Sharon helps him recover and scolds him. He meets her mother to show he is serious. Sharon gets bad news from her doctor but Ademide sends a care package. After six months he proposes at his decorated restaurant with roses and candles. She says yes. The movie ends saying love is choosing to stay even with uncertainty.
